MANILA, Philippines - Three persons were killed while another was hurt after a dump truck collided head on with a bulk carrier in Bulacan Wednesday morning.
Police identified the fatalities as Christian Legaspi, 24, dump truck driver; his companion Arcy Solis; and bulk carrier driver Rio delos Santos.
Delos Santos' co-worker, Michael de Sajo, was transferred from another hospital to Malolos Hospital.
Police said the dump truck (RLV-360), laden with coal, was speeding along AZT Road in Barangay Matictic, Norzagay when its propeller was detached and rammed the bulk carrier.
A trailer truck parked in the area was also damaged during the collision.
