2 killed in Rizal road mishap

MANILA, Philippines - Two people were killed and their companion was seriously hurt when the motorcycle they were riding rammed a sport utility vehicle (SUV) in Angono, Rizal yesterday.

Killed were Gil Rivera, 22, and Mark Anthony, 21, who suffered head and body injuries.

Donaly Lomilay, 18, was confined at the Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center for body injuries.

 Senior Superintendent Rolando Anduyan, Rizal police director, ordered the arrest of Cesario Gil, 66, driver of the SUV.

Witnesses said the motorcycle was speeding and overtook another vehicle.
