TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – A burglar was caught by police as he crawled out of a 20-meter tunnel he and his cohorts had dug up leading to a pawnshop in Camalaniugan, Cagayan last Thursday.
Suspect Roger Aguinaldo, 38, yielded coins amounting to P102,000 when lawmen collared him, thanks to prompt action by the pawnshop workers. His accomplices though were able to escape.
Police found the equipment used by Aguinaldo’s group in digging the tunnel.
