MANILA, Philippines - Fire struck Tutuban Mall's cluster building in Manila's Divisoria district on Wednesday afternoon.
Chief Inspector Bonifacio Carta of the Manila fire department said the fire broke out at around 12:13 p.m.
Carta said that fire only reached the first alarm before it was put out at 12:38 p.m.
He said that the fire damaged parts of the cluster building's second and third floors.
He said that based on initial investigations, the fire had "multiple origins."
The building was still under renovation because it was also razed by fire in September last year, which lasted for three days.
