2 Iloilo teenagers held for rape of 14-year-old girl

Iloilo City, Philippines – Two minors were arrested after they allegedly raped another minor in Leganes town in Iloilo last Friday afternoon.

Police said one of the two suspects, both aged 17, was arrested at the Jaro public plaza Friday night, while the other, a high school senior, gave himself up to authorities.

The two allegedly took turns in raping a 14-year-old high school sophomore at a beach resort where they had gone to along with some friends.

Probers learned that the rape took place after the group indulged in binge drinking.
