Zambo Norte floods affect over 9,000 folk

MANILA, Philippines - More than 9,000 people or about 1,800 families were affected by floods caused by continuous rains in Zamboanga del Norte.

Affected by the flooding, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, are the barangays of San Jose, Olingan, Biwan, Lugdungan, Punta, Dicayas, Gulayon and Turno, all in Dipolog City; Pian, Poblacion South, Labrador, Guinles, Obay, Anastacio, Villahermosa, Lingasad and Poblacion North, all in Polanco town; and Basagan in Katipunan town. – Alexis Romero, Roel Pareño
