MANILA, Philippines - A worker died and three more were wounded in a tire factory explosion in Valenzuela City on Tuesday morning.
Police identified the fatality as Bongbong Danding, 36. The wounded workers were Segundo Enriquito, 34; Medi Esinueva, 25 and Reynaldo Espinosa, 32.
The Valenzuela City police said that the explosion took place at the Pilipinas Tire Rubber Corp. in Barrio Ugong.
Police have yet to determine the cause of the explosion, which reportedly came from one of the machines at the tire factory.
