Ed Amoroso - The Philippine Star

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna , Philippines – Two men were found dead in a car abandoned along a road in Sta. Rosa City, Laguna on Friday, and police suspect that they are victims of a robbery.

Superintendent Edwin Wagan, Sta. Rosa City police chief, said the bodies of the victims, identified as Diosdado Panganiban and Roberto Cabatay, both employees of the CNG company, bore gunshot wounds.

Wagan said there were reports that the victims had just withdrawn a huge sum from a bank before they were found dead in their Toyota Hi-ace service car.

Wagan said his men were still investigating the case, but that they were eyeing the robbery angle.

Wagan said he has formed a special team to handle the case.
