‘Probe Zambo council bet’s slay’

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines – Police officials in Sibuco, Zamboanga del Norte have been ordered to thoroughly investigate last Thursday’s killing of a municipal council aspirant.
Chief Superintendent Juanito Vaño, Region 9 police director, said the Sibuco police has to determine if the killing of Christopher Sacay, 36, resulted from a personal grudge or was election-related.
Sacay was gunned down in his general merchandise store. Empty .45-caliber shells were found at the scene.
