LEGAZPI CITY , Philippines – Two men died while being treated at the Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital here several hours after they were shot in Barangay Kimantong in Daraga, Albay, police reported yesterday.
Initial investigation showed that Francis Namia, security guard at the Garden of Ressurection Cemetery, was talking with Dionesio Losabio, a tricycle driver, when the gunman shot Namia several times. Losabio was reported hit by a stray bullet.
Chief Inspector Lorenzo Trajano said a land dispute could be the motive for the killing.
Trajano said they have identified the gunman and will file double murder charges against him.
