Newborn snatched from nursery

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – A newborn girl was snatched from the Cagayan Valley Regional Medical Center here last Monday.

Jenifer Delelis, father of the newborn, and a resident of Barangay San Agustin in Abulug town, sought the assistance of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to find his daughter.

The missing newborn and her twin were delivered last Dec. 29. The infants were born prematurely and placed in incubators.

The NBI said they have obtained a closed-circuit television footage showing a woman, who is about 23 years old, bringing the infant out of the hospital.
