Bullet-riddled bodies of 2 women found in Batangas

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna , Philippines  â€“ Police were still clueless on the killing of two women whose bullet-riddled bodies were found in their rented apartment in Laurel, Batangas on Saturday morning.

Police identified the victims as 35-year-old businesswoman Jocelyn Peñaflor Marquez and her companion, a certain Aida.

Investigators said they are now looking for witnesses in the victims’ neighborhood in Barangay Balakilong, Laurel town.

Although still without any clues, probers said they would check if the killing was related to Marquez’s business deals or a grudge against her or the result of a robbery.
