Raymund Catindig - The Philippine Star

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines  – The Philippine Coast Guard recently seized three Chinese vessels off the coast of Caoayan, Ilocos Sur.

Lt. Jomark Angue, PCG-North Luzon operations officer in San Fernando City, said officials of the vessels, Tommy 101, Hung Long 14, and Hung Long 15 failed to present any document authorizing their transport of unspecified tons of black sand.

The cargo is believed to have been extracted from the coastline of Cagayan province.
