LRT train stalls in Monumento

MANILA, Philippines - The operations of Light Rail Transit Line 1 were temporarily disrupted on Friday after one its trains malfunctioned in Caloocan City, a spokesman said.

LRT Authority spokesman Hernando Cabrera said he has yet to get any information on the cause of the  stalled southbound train from the Monumento station

"Around 10:08 a.m. southbound area. Tumirik 'yung tren sa Monumento station...pero umaandar na ngayon...dinala na sa reversing track 'yung tren para hindi makaabala sa ibang tren," Cabrera said in a radio interview.
