Dentist gunned down

BINMALEY, Pangasinan, Philippines – A female dentist was shot dead by motorcycle-riding armed men along a national road in Barangay Gayaman here Friday afternoon.

Superintendent Roberto Vocal, Binmaley police officer-in-charge, identified the victim as Glenda Jacinto, a resident of Barangay Buenlag.

Initial investigation showed Jacinto was driving her Toyota Vios (AER-949) on her way to town when the ambush occured. She suffered a bullet wound in the left armpit and died while undergoing treatment at the Specialist Group Hospital and Trauma Center in Dagupan City.
