Drug pusher falls in Bulacan sting ops
Anti-narcotics agents arrested a suspected pusher during a buy-bust operation in Bulacan, confiscating an estimated P12,000 worth of illegal drugs, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency said on Tuesday.
PDEA director general Arturo Cacdac, Jr. identified the suspect as Charles Antipasado, 28, of Pearl St., Sta. Lucia Village, Phase 5, Punturin, Valenzuela.
Cacdac said last Dec. 8, elements of PDEA Regional Office-National Capital Region apprehended Antipasado after he sold roughly two grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu, worth P 12,000 contained inside a cigarette box, to a poseur-buyer along Little Baguio Street, Malhacan, Meycauayan, Bulacan.
Antipasado is now facing charges for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Article II, Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. A case for violation of Direct Assault and Resisting Arrest under Article 148, of the Revised Penal Code were also filed in court against him.
