Fire hits residential area in Makati

MANILA, Philippines - A fire of a still undetermined origin razed through a residential area along Coronado St. in Barangay Guadalupe Viejo in Makati City, leaving at least 20 families homeless. 

According to the Makati Central Fire station, the fire started at around 9:53 a.m. and quickly reached the third alarm.

At least 10 houses were razed while at least 20 fire trucks rushing to the scene. No one was reported dead or injured by the fire, the Makati Central Fire station said.

The fire was declared out by 10:55 a.m. Arson investigators have yet to determine the origin of the blaze.
