Top Iloilo taxpayers cited

MANILA, Philippines - The provincial government of Iloilo recognized outstanding taxpayers and top performers recently.

The municipality of Mina received an excellence award for its outstanding performance in tax records management for six consecutive years during a ceremony held on Friday at Sarabia Manor Hotel and Convention Center.

The top real property and business taxpayers and top performers in realty tax collection, tax records management, prompt remittance of tax shares, collection of annual fixed tax for delivery trucks and vans and early submission of e-statement of receipts and expenditures were also cited.

Provincial administrator Raul Banias represented Gov. Arthur Defensor Sr. at the awarding ceremony.
