CARRANGLAN, Nueva Ecija, Philippines – A brother of incumbent Vice Mayor Efren Alfonso and two others were charged before the Department of Justice for alleged complicity in the Nov. 11 killing of a 67-year-old engineer in this town.
Charged before the DOJ in Manila for the killing of engineer Alexander Mejia were Erwin Alfonso and two others who remain unidentified.
Police were looking at land dispute as the possible motive for the attack on Mejia in Sitio Pulo, Barangay Joson here.
