ZAMBOANGA CITY , Philippines – Unclaimed remains of at least 25 people, including two infants and two women and mostly victims of summary execution, were buried in a public cemetery in Barangay Talabaan here last Friday afternoon, according to a social welfare official.
Social welfare officer-in-charge Evelyn Las Marias said the corpses had been unclaimed in local funeral homes for almost a year.
