ILOILO CITY, Philippines – The regional police expressed concern yesterday over the use of minors in the illegal drug trade.
Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr., regional police director, said drug pushers have become careful in their operations and that the use of minors as drug couriers has been their ingenious way to elude arrest.
Records show that 337 drug suspects have so far been arrested in 218 operations this year.
