Security guard foils robbery attempt

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, Philippines – A security guard hit two robbers with his motorcycle, foiling an attempt to rob the employees of a pawnshop chain delivering money to a branch in Barangay Taloy in this city on Nov. 16.

Reynaldo Sayaboc, 30, was driving a motorcycle with two female employees as his passengers when two unidentified motorcycle-riding robbers shot at them.

Sayaboc accidentally hit two more robbers waiting on the sidewalk. All four robbers sped away on their motorcycles toward San Carlos City when they heard a police siren, authorities said.
