Father and son arrested for hacking kin to death

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – A father and son were arrested for hacking a relative to death and seriously wounding his wife in Amulung, Cagayan the other day.

Reports said Richard Agunoy, 36, and his wife Jessice were walking home in Barangay Manalo when Nestor Agunoy, 51, and his son Robinson, 27, attacked them with jungle bolos.

Police said Nestor Agunoy’s right arm was severed, with the torn part still missing, believed taken by stray dogs.

Agunoy’s wife is still in critical condition due to deep hack wounds in the head. The two suspects were eventually arrested.
