NPA killed in Sorsogon clash

LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines – A New People’s Army (NPA) guerrilla was killed while two others were wounded when Army troops attack the rebels’ camp in Casiguran, Sorsogon Wednesday morning, the Army said.
Col. Felix Castro, commanding officer of the 903rd Infantry Brigade, said villagers saw the NPA rebels carrying a dead comrade and two wounded colleagues as they escaped following the 20-minute firefight with men of the 31st Infantry Battalion led by 2Lt. Mac Fojie Flauta.
