Western Mindanao has 40,933 new 4Ps beneficiaries

PAGADIAN CITY, Philippines – The Department of Social Welfare and Development Region 9 office has added 40,993 beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in Western Mindanao.

4Ps regional project coordinator Emelita Acedo said 8,833 of the beneficiaries will be selected from Zamboanga  del Norte, 8,508 from Zamboanga del Sur, 3,909 from Zamboanga Sibugay, 17,091 from Zamboanga City and 2,652 from  Basilan.

The new beneficiaries will start receiving at least P1,000 from the government in January next year, Acedo said.
