Reward in Laguna killing now P1 M

SAN PEDRO, Laguna , Philippines – This town’s mayor has increased from P600,000 to P1 million the reward for information leading to the arrest of the two killers of the president of the local Association of Barangay Captains (ABC) last Aug. 1.

“It’s only money. I will provide additional P400,000 to have a big chance to solve the murder of (ABC president Arturo) Hatulan,” Mayor Calixto Cataquiz said on Saturday.

Superintendent John Kirby Kraft, San Pedro police chief, said they are hoping to solve the killing soon, adding that his men already have suspects who are now hiding in Batangas.                 –
