12 hurt in vehicular accident in Benguet

ITOGON, Benguet, Philippines – At least 12 persons were injured when a passenger jeepney lost its brakes along Barangay Virac in Itogon, Benguet Friday.

Fred Langgoyan, 40, driver of the jeepney, told investigators that the vehicle turned on its side because he rammed the jeepney on a slope to make it stop and prevent it from falling into a cliff.

On Thursday, 12 passengers of an Amianan bus also lost its brake along Camp 4 in Tuba town also in Benguet.
