Police officer gunned down in P'sinan

URDANETA CITY, Philippines  – The occupants of a a red car gunned down a police officer over the weekend in Barangay Nancayasan here. 

SPO4 Anuario Blanco Concepcion, 52, a resident of 297 Barangay Camanang,was riding his motorcycle when he was shot several times.

Concepcion was assigned as liaison officer by the Philippine National Police at the provincial office of the National Police Commission in this city, lawyer Monday Samson, the agency’s provincial head, told The STAR in a text message.  

The victim was pronounced dead on arrival at the Sacred Heart Hospital. 

Scene of the Crime Operatives recovered seven spent shells of an M16 rifle and a spent shell of a 9mm pistol.
