MANILA, Philippines - A 4.1 magnitude earthquake hit parts of Batangas and Mindoro Oriental Friday night, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said yesterday.
Phivolcs said a 4.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 10:25 p.m. 21 kilometers southwest of Calatagan, Batangas.
The tremor, which was said to be tectonic in origin, was felt at Intensity 3 in Batangas City and Intensity 2 in Puerto Galera.
