Bataan mayor's ex-bodyguard shot dead

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – A former bodyguard of Orion Mayor Jose Santos was shot dead by two men in Barangay Camachille in the town last Saturday. 

Senior Superintendent Ricardo Zapata, Bataan police provincial director, identified the fatality as Joey Sabino, 51.

Zapata said the victim was having dinner when the suspects forcibly entered his rented apartment and shot him several times. 

Police recovered eight spent shells and seven deformed slugs for a caliber .45 pistol.
