DFA opens satellite office in Pampanga

MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) consular office at MarQuee Mall in Angeles City, Pampanga is now open and ready to offer its services to the public.

DFA-Angeles is one of the largest mall-based consular offices of the DFA with a floor area of 811 square meters. It could accommodate at least 500 passport applicants per day.

The inauguration of the new consular office last July 30 was attended by Foreign Affairs SecretaryAlbert del Rosario, Assistant Secretary for Consular Affairs Jaime Victor Ledda and the chairman of the Civil Service Commission Francisco Duque III.

Local government officials led by Angeles City Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan, Pampanga Gov. Lilia Pineda, Mabalacat Mayor Mariano Morales and Olongapo City Mayor James Gordon Jr., also attended the inauguration.

The Ayala Land Management team led by executive vice president Bobby Dy, together with vice president and head of operations for the commercial business group Rowena Tomeldan, assistant vice president Javier Hernandez, division manager Mark Sablan and MarQuee Mall general manager Norie Raniel graced the occasion.

DFA-Angeles at Level 3 of MarQuee Mall accepts walk-in applicants and processes passport applications from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays to Fridays and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. It is also open on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for releasing of passports.
