Alleged hitman in Ilocos Norte falls

LAOAG CITY, Philippines – Police arrested on Sunday a suspected gun-for-hire wanted in this province for at least three slaying incidents.

Superintendent Joeffrey Gorospe identified the suspect as Randy Baoit, who was nabbed in his house in Barangay Sto. Niño in Nueva Eratown.

Gorospe did not identify the victims except that Baoit was arrested on the strength of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Benjamin Turgano of this city’s Regional Trial Court Branch 15.

He said the suspect is also in the “hitlist” of the province’s Anti-Crime Task Force. – Teddy Molina, Artemio Dumlao
