Pampanga barangay chairman gunned down

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines – Unidentified men shot dead a barangay chairman in front of the Arayat Central School in Arayat town yesterday morning, police said.

In a report, Superintendent Jhoan Ponseca-Rosales, intelligence operations chief of the Pampanga police, said Barangay San Agustin Norte chairman Joel Puyat had just brought his Grade 2 son to the school and was about to go home on his motorcycle when two men shot him several times.
