2 missing in Zamboanga del Sur

MANILA, Philippines -  Two persons on a motorcycle went missing after their vehicle was swept away by the strong current in a creek in Zamboanga del Sur Saturday night, the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) reported yesterday.

National Risk Reduction and Management Council executive director and OCD administrator Undersecretary Benito Ramos identified the victims as Michael Dahuya and Eyen Opamin. 

In La Union, disaster officials recovered the body of 18-year-old Patrick Ramilo after it was washed ashore in Barangay Cariatan, San Fernando City. Ramilo along with friend Mark Eliezer Joven were swept away by the strong current while boating at around 9:30 a.m.
