Businesswoman gunned down in Quezon

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines  – A 56-year-old businesswoman was gunned down by a lone assassin in front of her residence in Infanta, Quezon last Monday night, authorities said.

The victim, Angelina Crisostomo, died on the spot from seven gunshot wounds.

A report reaching Chief Superintendent James Melad, Calabarzon police director, said Crisostomo was about to enter her house in Barangay Agos, Infanta town when the gunman approached her and shot her at close range.

PO3 Aurelio Turing, Infanta police investigator, said they were still investigating if Crisostomo’s killing was related to her work.
