- Raymund Catindig - The Philippine Star

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines  – The prime suspect in the murder of the son of Isabela agriculturist was arrested in Barangay Sta. Ignacia, Tarlac yesterday.

Senior Superintendent Ricardo Espiriru, chief of the regional Highway Patrol Group (HPG), identified the suspect as Emiliano Flores Rotaquio, 22, a resident of Barangay Dumabatu Sur in Maddela, Quirino.

Rotaquio was arrested following a month-long surveillance by HPG operatives led by Senior Inspector Melchor Pascua in the hometown of the suspect’s live-in partner in Sta. Ignacia.

Rotaquio allegedly strangled Mark Robin Barroga, 29, the only son of Cauayan City agriculturist Constante, and took his Isuzu Dmax in February last year.
