Wayward truck kills 5 in Davao City

DAVAO CITY, Philippines – At least five people were killed and four were injured when a wayward dump truck struck them at a dump in Barangay New Carmen, Tugbok district here Saturday night, police said.
Senior Superintendent Ronald de la Rosa, city police chief, said the wayward truck, driven by one Delmar Camanse Eleazar, 23, is owned by Comval Tropical Fruits Inc. based in Compostela Valley.
