Tech training center underway in Antipolo

- The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Antipolo City Mayor Nilo Leyble and Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo recently led the groundbreaking ceremony for a three-story Technical and Skills Training Center at Dalig National High School.

Education is one of the priority projects under Leyble’s nine-point agenda NILO CARES, including a vocational program to train dropouts on job-specific courses at the center.

The training center also forms part of the city’s flagship projects for 2012 to be funded by the Performance Challenge Fund (PCF) and the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF) provided by the Department of the Interior and Local Government.

After Antipolo City was declared a qualified recipient of the Gawad Pamana ng Lahi award last year along with the Seal of Good Housekeeping, it received a share in the LGSF and PCF amounting to P50 million and P2 million, respectively.
