KIDAPAWAN CITY, Philippines – Operatives of the Office of the City Veterinarian (OCVet) and the police here launched yesterday a manhunt for a group of men disguised as government veterinarians.
The group is reportedly using “colored water” as vaccines, OCVet said.
Psalmer Bernalde, city government’s information officer, said the “bogus” veterinarians are asking P200 to P500 from farmers in exchange for the vaccination of their animals.
“Employees of the OCVet do not charge payment for the services they render to farmers,” Bernalde said.
