3 dead, 18 injured in CamSur collision

LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines – Three persons were killed while 18 others, including the drivers of two passenger buses, were hurt in a collision Wednesday night in Lupi, Camarines Sur, police said.

Senior Inspector Jerome Regachuelo, Lupi police chief, said a Silver Star bus bound for Ormoc City in Leyte hit an incoming Ultrabus from Metro Manila at around 9:30 p.m.

Regachuelo said the three fatalities were passengers of the Silver Star bus, namely Cecile Silmar, 29; Francisco Belarmino, 67; and Ramil de la Cruz, 28. – Celso Amo, Cecille Suerte Felipe
