Woman on way to court killed

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – A woman on her way to a court hearing was gunned down by still unidentified men aboard a Honda car in Batangas City yesterday morning.

Citing reports, Chief Superintendent James Melad, Calabarzon police director, said the victim, Zenaida Barza, died on the spot from multiple bullet wounds.

Prior to the ambush-slay, a certain Marco Papasin was critically wounded in a gun attack also in Batangas City yesterday morning, police said.
