BUTUAN CITY, Philippines – Four children aged 12 to 17 in Surigao del Sur were killed and two others were injured in a blast from a grenade they had found at Hinipaan Falls in Lingig town and toyed with last Sunday, police said.
The fatalities were identified as Michael Ambus and Joselito Corteza Nonong, both 17; Nelbert Ortega Banog, 15; and Aiko Mae Buenaflor Nonong, 12. Two other children aged 11 and 13 sustained injuries. – Ben Serrano, Edith Regalado
