Mild quakes hit Negros, Surigao

MANILA, Philippines - Two quakes rocked Negros Oriental and Surigao del Sur yesterday, state seismologists said.

The first tremor at around 6:58 a.m. was felt at Intensity 2 in Tayasan and Guihulngan towns in Negros Oriental, while the second quake at around 12:25 p.m. was felt at Intensity 3 in Bislig City and Lingig, Surigao del Sur and Intensity 2 in Butuan City.
