Reward in Pangasinan slay case now P1 M
LINGAYEN, Pangasinan ,Philippines – The reward for information leading to the arrest of the killers of former Lingayen vice mayor Ramon Arcinue and his wife, Barangay Poblacion chairman Zorahayda, is now P1 million.
Joel Arcinue, son of the slain couple, told The STAR that their family is offering another P200,000.
Pangasinan Gov. Amado Espino Jr. offered a reward of P500,000 last week in addition to the P300,00 pledged by Mayor Ernesto Castañeda to solve the murder of the Arcinue couple.
A P500,000 reward – P200,000 from Espino and P300,000 from the Arcinue family – were also offered for the arrest of the suspects in the shooting of the couple in Binmaley town on March 4 last year.
The Arcinue couple was ambushed last March 7 in front of their rented apartment in Sampaloc, Manila.. They were buried at the Catholic Cemetery in Lingayen on March 14.
