DAR opens P30-M La Union highway
SAN GABRIEL, La Union – Agrarian Reform Secretary Virgilio de los Reyes led here yesterday the opening of a “mountain highway” that connects the municipalities of Santol, Bacnotan, and San Gabriel.
De los Reyes said the highway, which is 5.5 kilometers long, is part of the Agrarian Reform Infrastructure Support Project, which benefits agrarian reform communities.
The project was implemented by the Department of Agrarian Reform and the Department of Public Works and Highways.
“This is just one of the projects of the Department of Agrarian Reform for northern Luzon. We also have other projects such as the distribution of farm equipment, infrastructure and livelihood assistance,” De los Reyes said.
