- Dino Balabo -

MALOLOS CITY ,Philippines  – Suspected remnants of the Dominguez carjacking group struck again on Thursday morning, taking away a sports utility van (SUV) with a family of three onboard in Meycauayan City, Bulacan, authorities said.

Superintendent Hector Samar said Jose Hortillosa, owner of the Isuzu Altera, was on his way to the hospital with his wife for the regular checkup of their pregnant daughter when a Starex van parked in front of his vehicle and two men wearing police jackets pointed guns at them at around 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

The carjackers blindfolded the Hortillosas, commandeered the Isuzu Altera and drove it to the North Luzon Expressway. The Hortillosas were unharmed and dumped two hours later in Mexico, Pampanga.
