Ex-Ilocos Sur official killed

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines – Assassins shot dead a former vice mayor of the Ilocos Sur town of Sto. Domingo on Tuesday, authorities said.

The victim, Anthony Que, who had engaged in business after his term as vice mayor ended, was reportedly talking to a woman at the back of an apartment in Poblacion Norte, San Ildefonso town when he was shot with caliber .45 and 9-mm pistols in the head, neck and back.

Ilocos Sur Gov. Luis Singson has offered P100,000 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of Que’s killers. – Artemio Dumlao, Cecille Suerte Felipe, Teddy Molina
