Bodies of drown victims recovered

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines – Authorities recovered yesterday the bodies of two of the three school children who drowned in Cagayan River.

The fatalities were identified as Rickson Rasa, 7, and Eric John Rasa, 6. Fishermen discovered their bodies on the riverbank in Ilagan town’s Lulutan village.

Rescuers are still searching for the body of the third victim, Andrea Maureen Corpuz, 6.

Reports said the victims, all from the city’s Barangay Dabburab, fell into the river at around 3 p.m. four days ago.
