8 'missing' Cagayan fishers found

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines  – Eight Cagayan fishermen earlier reported as missing were found safe on Fuga Island, where they sought shelter amid strong waves, authorities said.

The fishermen, all from Barangay Macanaya in Aparri town, went out to sea last Sunday despite rough seas brought about by the inclement weather.   – Charlie Lagasca, Raymund Catindig
