Salvador Bernal Hall proposed

DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines  – A councilor here said he would sponsor a resolution renaming the first floor gallery of the city's museum as the Salvador F. Bernal Hall as a tribute to the late National Artist.

Councilor Brain Lim noted that the second floor gallery of the Museo ng Dagupan was named the Victorio Edades Hall in honor of the first national artist from this city.

Dagupeños paid their last respects to Bernal, the 2003 National Artist for Theater and Design, in a ceremony befitting a national hero, when he was buried Wednesday at the Eternal Gardens Memorial Park here.
